How we source every figure
Our main sources: the Bank of Canada for rates, bond yields and USD/CAD; Statistics Canada for inflation and jobs; and Kraken daily closes in Canadian dollars for bitcoin and ether. Other figures link to their own source.
The numbers table shows each figure's date and how much it has moved since a stated earlier date. News is summarized in our own words, with a link to the original story. We're not affiliated with any of the sources we cite.
Our promise
- Facts only. Every figure links to its source and carries an as-of date.
- No advice. No buy or sell calls, no price predictions, no recommendations.
- No hype. Plain language, no urgency.
- Paid links are labelled. If an issue ever contains a paid or affiliate link or sponsored content, it says so at the top and names who pays.
